TRICK TO TREAT REVIEWS
Reviewer: Xeranthemum (Long & Short of It Reviews)
Winner of Book of the Week/Four and Half Books: "If one of your favorite movies is Sixteen Candles, then Trick to Treat should appeal. It has the same aspects of emotional growth, sweet discovery and paybacks. The HEA gave me the impression that we’ll someday be hearing at their 50th wedding anniversary party about how they came to be high school sweethearts. And what a great story that will be." Grade A Outstanding Read: "In Trick To Treat, Mendoza does a great job of showing not only the trials of high school but also the delights of new love in this contemporary short story. I think any young lady would be able to relate to Sarah and wouldn’t be able to help but cheer at the end of this fun read." For full review go to HERE.

Four Stars (Page Turner): "I found this young adult story very sweet and thoroughly entertaining. I loved Sarah because she was an ordinary girl just wanting to be part of the in crowd...I absolutely loved how Ms. Mendoza ended her story. I would definitely recommend this story to kids and adults alike. Great job!" For full review go HERE.

"Kimberlee R. Mendoza’s Trick to Treat is a sweet and totally innocent teen romance that makes a great Halloween lunch break (or after school) read. The story is cute and romantic—and sometimes even a little bit spooky—and, best of all, it features a likeable main character that just about any reader will be able to relate to...Medoza does a good job of telling an adorable story about innocent teen romance. The story may be super-short, but there’s nothing missing here. The main character is lovable, and the story even has a surprise or two. As a result, Trick to Treat is about as short, sweet, and satisfying as a Halloween-sized candy bar." For full review go HERE.

Four Hearts: Kimberlee Mendoza writes a great story for young people...It’s nice to see a fun story that reinforces a spirit of standing up for yourself for young people. There are a lot of us adults who could probably use the same kind of injection of belief in our own values. It’s often too easy for any of us to give in to peer pressure as the author shows. But for Sarah and Matt, giving in and going along may have prevented the friendship they found. This is a fun book for any age." For full review go HERE.
