SEEK YE FIRST MY HEART

Reviewer: Stephanie B. (Fallen Angel Reviews)

Five Angels:
"Ms. Mendoza is a master of telling an excellent teen story that takes the reader through the tough situations many teens have to face. I am really enjoying this series and am looking forward to the fourth book!" For full review, go HERE.

Four Stars, Memorable Good: "...This is a highly enjoyable read. It may be the third book in an ongoing series, but it works well as a stand alone novel, and is thrilling enough to keep the reader gripped right up to the heart-warming conclusion." For full review go HERE

Reviewer: Black-eyed Susan (Long and Short Reviews)

Three & Half Books: "The author has a real gift for making a point without preaching at her readers; she lets the story itself give the message...I would recommend Seek Ye First My Heart to any teenager looking for a clean and compelling romance to read between classes. Teens will resonate with the ubiquitous cliques and camaraderie, as well as the fears and insecurities of Ms. Mendoza's characters."

Reviewer: Valerie (Manic Readers)

"Filled with teenage angst and the common confusion known as growing up, this love story for young adults not only entertains, but teaches some valuable lessons too. Along with a few other lessons I believe that the most important one in this book was about fitting in. Everyone wants to be the most popular kid in school, but what this book teaches is that sometimes it's better to be yourself than to be popular. Seek Ye First My Heart is a great book, especially for teen girls." For full review, go HERE

Four Stars: "This was the third book in the Russell Family series. It was a sweet story. At first, Cassi's selfishness was annoying, but she grew on me as she started to be more open to different types of friendships. I liked seeing her change, but I also liked how Ms. Mendoza showed that a sudden change of heart doesn't erase consequences. And when Cassi really searched and opened up, she found parts of herself that she not only liked, but that gave her purpose and hope for the future."
